Delicious David Outlines Cheesy Drop Biscuits

May 10, 2011

For this recipe you will need these ingredients:

1 cup of Original Bisquick

1/3 cup milk

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 tbs melted butter (for garlic butter)

1/8 tsp garlic powder (for garlic butter)

Preheat your oven to a blistering 450 degrees.

Begin by mixing, in a medium bowl, cheddar cheese and Bisquick. Add milk and stir the mixture with a fork until you have formed soft dough.

Now drop your nearly finished biscuits on a cookie sheet. Drop the dough by 5 to 6 spoonfuls about 2 inches apart.

If you want to avoid having your biscuits glued to your baking sheet, you can put a layer of parchment paper in between your pan and your biscuits. If you decide against using parchment paper, lightly grease your pan to keep your cheese from gluing you biscuits to the pan.

Now back your batch for 8 to 10 minutes, until golden brown.

While your biscuits are baking, you have the option to make your own garlic butter; it is a very simple process. Personally, I am a fan of apple butter, but it is up to you!

To make garlic butter: mix your melted butter with your garlic powder and stir, then you’re done.

Serve your delightfully rich biscuits with your butter of choice!
